SECURITY & DATA HANDLING

Define the controls before data is shared.

Every dataset has a different risk profile. Aimage Annotators confirms project-specific access, transfer, storage, retention and deletion requirements during scoping instead of presenting a generic certification as a substitute for operational agreement.

Access scope

The project brief should identify who is permitted to access the data, which annotation accounts will be used and whether work must remain inside a client-controlled platform. Access expectations are confirmed before production begins.

Transfer and local handling

Clients should specify the approved transfer method and whether local downloading is permitted. Confidential datasets should not be sent through the public enquiry form or an unrestricted link. Secure transfer arrangements are agreed after initial project qualification.

Retention and deletion

The parties should agree whether project files may be retained for correction or audit, how long any permitted copy is kept and when deletion must be confirmed. Aimage Annotators does not publish a universal retention period because client requirements differ.

Project documentation

Where required, the working agreement can document confidentiality, authorized users, approved systems, incident escalation, retention, deletion and whether any additional workforce may participate. Only controls agreed for that project should be treated as commitments.

Certifications and compliance

Aimage Annotators does not claim ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR certification or another formal compliance status on this website. Clients with regulated or highly sensitive data should raise their applicable contractual and technical requirements before sharing a sample.
